Remote Medical Consultations
PrymaCare offers private remote consultations for patients who need prompt medical advice without waiting for a traditional GP appointment.
Remote consultations may be suitable for a wide range of common health concerns including minor illness and infections, skin problems, urinary symptoms/infections as well as some musculoskeletal pains and injuries.
Consultations are conducted securely and allow patients to discuss symptoms, receive clinical guidance and, where appropriate, treatment recommendations which may include a private prescription.
Remote consultation may lead to a home visit:
Some conditions cannot be safely assessed without a face-to-face examination. If this is identified during your consultation, and you are within the home visit service area, your appointment may be converted to a home visit with your agreement.
The standard home visit fee will apply, with the cost of your remote consultation deducted. If a home visit is not clinically appropriate or not available, you will be advised on the most appropriate alternative care pathway.
