PrymaCare can sometimes issue a one-off repeat prescription for a medication you already take, where it is safe and appropriate to do so. This is intended as a short-term measure, for example, if you are unable to obtain your usual prescription in time.
We do not provide ongoing repeat prescribing or take over long-term medication management, which should remain with your GP or usual specialist.
You must be able to provide details of your current medication and medical history, and prescribing will only take place after a clinical assessment.
Remote consultation: £70
Home visit consultation: £120
Microsuction home visit: £60
Fees are payable at the time of booking.
Some conditions cannot be safely assessed without a face-to-face examination. If this is identified during your consultation, and you are within the home visit service area, your appointment may be converted to a home visit with your agreement.
The standard home visit fee will apply, with the cost of your remote consultation deducted. If a home visit is not clinically appropriate or not available, you will be advised on the most appropriate alternative care pathway.
With your consent, a summary of the consultation can be shared with your NHS GP to support continuity of care.
If your condition requires urgent or specialist care you will be advised to attend the appropriate NHS service or may be provided with a referral.
Patient safety always comes first.
